Level 2 is more complex, as and includes a larger oil cooler, a downpipe with 100-cell metal catalytic converter and a sports air filter. As a result, the TwinPower 3.0-liter in-line-6 engine delivers a total of 420 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, which we estimate to drop the 0-to-60 time to just over 4 seconds.
The Level 1 upgrade costs €1,250 ($1,630 at the current exchange rates) and Level 2 runs €4,200 ($5,400).
Along with the engine upgrades, the tuner decided to replace the standard six-speed transmission with a new double-clutch gearbox from the M3. Unfortunately, Sportec does not offer a price for the transmission conversion.
The exhaust system was also replaced with a new one with control valves and titanium tailpipes. The exhaust system is priced at €3,422 ($4,460).
Next, the tuner focused on reducing the car’s total weight by installing a new roof membrane, a rear cover and new carbon-fiber seats.
