2014 Kia Forte 5-door revealed marked a new engine option at the Chicago Auto Show.
The 1.6-liter gasoline direct-injection turbocharged four-cylinder engine, 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque exposes. Engine is a six-speed manual or a six-speed paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel can be automated. This includes the option of motor Forte lineup, the most powerful Forte sedan and Forte Koup.
The base engine puts out 173 hp and 154 lb-ft of torque 2.0-liter gasoline direct-injection four-cylinder engine. Combined with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The base EX and sporty SX: 2014 Kia Forte hatchback come two varieties.
Standard-tech rear camera display, Bluetooth and satellite radio stability of Kia's infotainment system. Other standard features include 16-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift lever, and include LED headlights.
Stepping up to the SX trim 18-inch wheels, dual chrome exhaust tips, LED taillights, a more aggressive front end, larger front brakes, alloy sport pedals and seats with faux carbon fiber accents adds.
Optional features include both EX and SX sunroof, HID headlights, navigation system, heated steering wheel, heated and cooled seats, leather seats, push-button start, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and dual-zone automatic climate control.
